Tansi, welcome. I am Tina, I am from Norway House Cree Nation,
daughter of Joe Keeper and late Dr. Rev. Phyllis Keeper (nee Beardy) of Muskrat Dam First Nation.
As a media producer, mother and kokum. I care about our stories, I am proud to do this work.
It started for me as a young person seeing the works of great artists
such as Odjig, Jackson Beardy and Norval Morrisseau, and being part of an emerging Native theatre scene with Tompson and Rene Highway, Doris Linklater as luminaries surrounding us. It was the discipline of the arts and the breadth of creativity which has

An independent production company experienced in both feature film and television production, Buffalo Gal Pictures was founded in 1994 under the direction of President and Producer PHYLLIS LAING.
Kistikan Pictures Inc. is a partner company to the Winnipeg based company Buffalo Gal Pictures.
Kistikan has produced the short documentary The REDress REdress Project featuring Metis artist Jaime Black, the tv series Cashing In for APTN, feature film Road of Iniquity by Maliseet writer/director Mark Ennis, and co-produced the film Through Black Spruce, and the ballet Going Home Star with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet.

WHAT’S NEW?
KISTIKAN PICTURES has produced the 3rd season of CTV Comedy's #1 show ACTING GOOD starring Paul Rabliauskas for CTV Comedy, and and APTN now streaming on CRAVE, LUMI, ROKU Canada and USA. The show was co-created by Indigenous comedy creatorsAmber-Sekowan Daniels and Paul Rabliauskas, and comedians Eric Toth and Pat Thornton.
Season 4 of Acting Good just wrapped with our directors Michael Greyeyes, Darlene Naponse, Eva Thomas, Eric Toth, Tim Fontaine and
new to the directing team this season was Elle-Maija Tailfeathers and Roger Boyer.
Fall 2025 Kistikan Pictures will be in production on ANSCESTRAL BEASTS with Metis writer/director Tim Reidel.
