TINA KEEPER
Producer, Actor
Tansi, welcome. I am Tina, I am from Norway House Cree Nation,
daughter of Joe Keeper and late Dr. Rev. Phyllis Keeper (nee Beardy) of Muskrat Dam First Nation.
As a media producer, mother and kokum. I care about our stories, I am proud to do this work.
It started for me as a young person seeing the works of great artists
such as Odjig, Jackson Beardy and Norval Morrisseau, and being part of an emerging Native theatre scene with Tompson and Rene Highway, Doris Linklater as luminaries surrounding us. It was the discipline of the arts and the breadth of creativity which has
always inspired me. Ekosi...

WHAT’S NEW?
This past year has been amazing as my company KISTIKAN PICTURES has produced a new tv series ACTING GOOD starring Paul Rabliauskas for CTV Comedy, and now available on CRAVE. The show was co-created by Amber-Sekowan Daniels, Paul Rabliauskas, Eric Toth and Pat Thornton. Our directors were Michael Greyeyes, Darlene Naponse, Amber-Sekowan Daniels and Eric Toth.
I also had the great pleasure this past year of working as an actor in the feature film STELLAR written and directed by Anishinabe filmmaker Darlene Naponse, starring Elle-Maija Tailfeathers and Braeden Clarke . It also premiered at TIFF2022, and will open ImagineNative 2022.
